UltraSight, a joint venture of Yeda and NYU, has developed AI-based software that revolutionizes point of care diagnosis using ultrasound imaging, by eliminating the need for an expert.

A proprietory software system was developed using deep learning and geometric processing algorithms, that serve as a navigation tool that guides the user in capturing the required images, then automatically analyzes the output to provide real-time clinical decision support.

With UltraSight’s software, any ultrasound imaging device can become an automated image analysis system with navigation support bridging the gap between the expert and the novice user.

The first software package is focused on the needs of emergency departments, urgent care units and ambulance clinicians.
