Yeda Research and Development

Tamar is a neurobiologist and investor by background, passionate about advancing scientific breakthroughs from the lab to the market. Prior to joining Yeda, she was an investor at aMoon, Israel’s largest life sciences and health tech venture capital firm. As part of aMoon Growth Fund, Tamar actively sourced and evaluated high-impact investment opportunities and played a significant role in portfolio management.

Prior to aMoon, Tamar conducted her postdoctoral research at the NIH, where she developed innovative approaches to studying neuronal lysosomes. She earned both her Ph.D. and M.Sc. at the Weizmann Institute, focusing on brain pathology in neuronopathic Gaucher disease. She earned a summa cum laude B.Sc. in Biology and Psychology from TAU.
